A month ago Local Fame was shortlisted for the European Search Awards 2014 in three categories – Best Local Campaign, Best SEO Campaign and Best Low Budget Campaign and on Friday the results were announced. Local Fame is proud to be selected as the winner in the Best Low Budget Campaign category.
The awards are delivered in partnership with sponsors like the Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference (RIMC), Manual Link Building, and the global non-profit organisation SEMPO. This is the third year that the European Search Awards have been celebrated. The event attracts hundreds of entries from some of the leading digital search agencies and professionals in Europe. International companies who deliver work in Europe can also enter the awards. There are a total of 21 categories to enter and the final date for entry was the 17th of January. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Reykjavik at RIMC. Winners of previous awards have said that they have seen significant business benefits through their wins. With a sole focus on search marketing, these awards recognise the very best of companies in every niche of the search industry. The Search Awards are without a doubt the most prestigious search industry awards in Europe. The event took place at the Grand Hotel Reykjavik on Friday 28 March, 2014.
The owner of Local Fame Rune Sovndahl attended the ceremony and was happy to receive the award in person. From everyone involved in the Local Fame project we’d like to say thanks to the judges, the event organizers and of most of all – our customers.
